Designed for all levels and abilities, this program is generally provided by your health plan at no additional cost. SilverSneakers provides access to fitness equipment, group exercise classes, social networking, online education and a sense of community across the country.
A SilverSneakers Membership at the Grand Lake Center gives you the same access as any member. This membership includes use of the Cardio and Weight Rooms, Game Room, Toddler Playroom, Pickleball, Open Gym, Indoor Walking Track, Social Lounge, and Wi-Fi during regular office hours. Ask our staff about accessing the fitness center after office hours.
Our front desk staff is happy to help you enroll at our location with your SilverSneakers information. First we will check your eligibility online using either your SilverSneakers/Tivity Health ID number or using your first and last name and date of birth. You can check eligibility for yourself by clicking the link on the left.
Then there is a short registration packet and that’s it! If you are new to the Grand Lake Center, ask about touring the facility with a staff member.
When SilverSneakers members visit the Grand Lake Center, they are required to sign in at the Front Desk with your Tivity Health/SilverSneakers member ID. Please do not skip this step, as it is the only way we can track SilverSneakers usage as required by Tivity Health.
If visiting during normal business hours, please bring your silver sneakers card (not building keycard) to the front desk and sign in using the tablet provided. This can be done either by scanning the square barcode on the card provided by Silver Sneakers or by typing in your 16 digit ID number in the “Enter Manually” option for cards printed on site. We are happy to help you with this process.
If you are visiting the facility outside of normal office hours, there are two steps to the sign-in process.
- Use your building access card on the card reader outside of the building to open the doors. This step alone does not count as sign-in for Silver Sneakers and will not result in a reimbursement for your visit.
- Write the date, your name, and your silver sneakers 16 digit number on the sign in sheet found just inside the front door on the clipboard.
This process needs to be done for each member using the Center, for example, if you and your spouse are both working out, both of you will need to complete the sign-in.
This process must also be completed for Pickleball players. Writing your 16 digit number or “SS” on the Pickleball sign in sheet does not result in a reimbursement for your visit and means you are using the facility without paying.
Thank you so much for helping us stay compliant and receive proper reimbursement for providing this free service to our community.
