Grand Lake Center offers a wide selection of fitness options for our community and guests.

How to Enroll in or Renew a Grand Lake Center Fitness Membership

Currently, all new memberships applications and renewals must be completed and paid for in person at the Grand Lake Center’s front desk, with the exception of monthly membership RENEWALS only. New month-to-month memberships still need to be completed in person.

How to Pay Online

Have your credit card information and keyless entry card information ready. Cost for a one month renewal is $45 plus the credit card processing fee($0.75 + 2.25%). Click on the link here to go to the Town of Grand Lake’s online payment page. Choose Monthly Membership from the drop down menu and follow the instructions provided. The required keycard number is the last five digits of the number on the top right of your keyless entry card and ensures we give credit to the correct membership account.

Cardio Room

The cardio room at the Grand Lake Center has a large variety of state of the art cardio equipment including 2 spin bikes, 3 treadmills, 3 recumbent bikes, an arc trainer, 2 stair climber, 3 elliptical machines, a x-country ski trainer, and a row machine. There are 2 independent televisions available in the room with Comcast cable. WiFi is also available if you would like to tune into your favorite music on your portable device.

 

Strength Training Room

The strength training room at the Grand Lake Center is complete and fully functional but adding new equipment every few months.  Current equipment includes a Life Fitness Strength 3 stack weight machine, smith machine, 2 racks of dumbbells 5-65 lbs, CrossFit pull-up bar, incline bench, row machine, leg press, free standing punching bag, a weight bench and various bars and free weights. The cardio and strength training room can be accessed with a day pass, punch card, Silver Sneakers, or fitness membership.

Whether you are looking for a fast paced cardio class, or a balance-focused senior’s class, Grand Lake Center can help find the right fit for you. Classes offered can vary by time of year and availability of instructors. Total Body Fitness – Tues/Thurs/Sat 9-10am

An interval style class that uses dumbbells and various equipment including steps, tall steps, elastic bands and stability balls. It is a fun, dynamic class that burns fat and sculpts the body. For more information contact Crystal Myers at [email protected] or visit her website www.totalbodyfitness.club. Class Cost: $12 Drop-In or $100 for 10 sessions (punch card good for 1 year)

Senior Fit – Tues/Thurs 10:15-11am

A slower paced class emphasizing on low to no impact cardio, chair exercises, light weight lifting, balance work to help prevent slip and fall accidents, flexibility and core. it’s never too late to start taking care of your body! Instructor: Crystal Myers Class Cost: $10 Drop-In or 10 sessions for $80 (punch card good for 1 year)

Mat Pilates – Wednesdays 6-7pm

Condition your core, stretch your body and improve flexibility using proper alignment and form. This low-impact class is based upon the work of Joseph Pilates and his basic principles of Pilates: Centering, Concentration, Control, Precision, Breath and Flow.

1st and 3rd Wednesdays – Classical Mat Pilates

2nd and 4th Wednesdays – Contemporary Mat Pilates

Hatha Yoga – Thursdays 8:15-9:45am

This 90-minute yoga class will help relieve pain, calm the mind, prevent injury and improve overall fitness. All levels welcome. $15 per class. Pre-registration required. Call or text Margaret with Mountain Moon Yoga at 970-531-0877 to signup. 

Gentle Flow Yoga – Friday 9-10am

Achieve focus, balance, strength and flexibility with low intensity, calming postures synchronized to breath. Great for first time students as well as active students looking for a more introspective practice to refine poses and gain new insight. Drop in $15, punch card discounts available. Vinyasa Yoga – Saturdays 10:30-11:30am

A dynamic yoga class that connects breath with a flowing, progressive sequence of postures. Vinyasa yoga promotes awareness and balance of mind and body, builds strength and stability, reduces stress, and increases energy, flexibility and focus. Prior yoga experience is suggested. Day Use Punch Cards

Anyone is welcome to use the fitness center as a Drop-in in during regular office hours. Save by purchasing a punch card to pre-pay for your drop-in visits. Our most popular punch card is for 10 day uses of the facility. This option includes the Cardio and Weight Rooms and all the other benefits of a monthly membership, only during regular office hours.  An additional benefit to this choice is the fact that these punches do not expire and do not run on a monthly or annual basis and can be shared with a family member. Perfect for the occasional user or vacation home owner.

Drop-In and Day Use Punch Card users are restricted to center office hours.

Monthly and Annual Memberships:

Monthly and annual passes have access to the center via their membership keycard from 5:00am to Midnight 7 days a week.

One time $10 key card deposit required on all Monthly and Annual Memberships due at sign up.

Membership includes Cardio and Weight Rooms, Game Room, Toddler Play Room, Pickleball, Open Gym, Indoor Walking Track, Social Lounge, After Hours Access, and WiFi.
