This designation brings state-wide recognition for being a creative community with historical precedence and rich culture today. Colorful Creatives is the non- profit organization that coordinates the events, grants, and vision for the Creative District. Also in 2018, Grand Lake applied and were awarded the Space to Create grant to support and expand local artists with makers-spaces and potential affordable housing. The first step is a creative market survey. Please be on the lookout to participate.
