This class combines a flow of familiar poses, but done in a way that is strong and stable. We allow time in and between postures. You will practice honoring the personal boundaries of your physical structure. You will practice finding space, opening the body as well as the mind in order to find what feels right. What we do to and for our body should feel good. That doesn’t mean it’s always easy. We practice developing new habits that will serve us well. This practice will develop strength and flexibility all while honoring the body you have RIGHT NOW. I use lots of props. I love props! We use them to support us and stabilize the body so it can open up. There is an opportunity for lots of hands on assists for those that want to really explore poses in a new way.
