GRAND LAKE CENTER COMMONS

The Town of Grand Lake purchased the former elementary school in April 2015 from the East Grand School District. Along with many dedicated visionary volunteers the dream of the Grand Lake Center came true and on July 1, 2016 they officially opened their doors.

Grand Lake Center Overview

The use of the facilities have been segregated into two distinct uses:

Commons–for the local community, a year round, multi-generational comment event, recreation & resource center.

Basecamp Event Center– a unique facility features a variety of meeting & event room rentals.

Center Hours:

Monday: 9am-1pm

Tuesday-Friday: 9am-5pm

Saturday: 10am-2pm

Closed: Sunday

Keyless entry hours:

5am-12pm 7 days a week for members

CENTER ACTIVITIES & SERVICES

Game Room

Pool table, Foosball table, Ping Pong, Air Hockey and Wii. Free for members and kids to age 18.

Adults $2 or included with 1 day drop-in fitness or punch card use.

The Art Students League of Grand Lake

Every Thurs. 9 a.m.-1 p.m. $5 each session.  Bring in your own art supplies and paint alongside other artist while sharing techniques and tips.

Rural Health Network offers free In-Person assistance to help you find the right coverage for health insurance available through the affordable health care act or get you signed up for Medicare (now called Health First Colorado)

Single annual membership: $270

Family annual membership: $450 (includes 2 adults and 2 children age 13-17)

Open Gym Basket Ball: TuesdaySaturday 9am-11am ($2 per adult/kids to age 18 Free) Gym is available throughout the day at other times as well.  Check with the office if you would like to come in and play!

Indoor Walking Track:

Great indoor walking track, 20 laps = 1 mile ($2 per adult/Free for members & kids to age 18)

*Summer Pickleball is played outdoors at the GRAND LAKE GOLF COURSE tennis courts* Schedule is as follows:

Intermediate: Mon, Wed, Fri 1-3pm

Advanced: Tues, Thurs 3-6pm & Sat 11am-2pm
